Hadara is a certified Hatha yoga intructor specializing in Restorative and Yin yoga as well as constructing a practice for specific problem areas (a tight hip, frozen shoulder for example). She develops practices for the fuller more inflexible figure and individuals recovering from various drug and alcohol addictions.

Traditional Hatha yoga is a holisitc yogic path, including moral disciplines and physical exercises (e.g. asanas and pranayama) and meditation. Yin yoga is a very distinct style of hatha yoga that stretches the connective tissue (joints) rather than conditioning the muscles, the latter being the aim of most other styles of hatha yoga. This is a mostly seated practice in which an individual will hold the pose for several minutes at a time. It is a wonderful practice that allows you to reap the full benefit from each asana. Restorative yoga is a relaxative form of hatha yoga, the poses have a particular ability to leave us nourished and well rested. These postures are usually deeply supported by blankets, blocks, or other props and are held for several minutes at a time.

Hadara is available for private yoga instruction in your home. Please refer to the contact page for more information!
